Exercise classes

We offer postnatal exercise classes suitable for all new mums from 6 weeks postnatal right up until kiddies are crawling, walking and talking. We are Mum and baby exercise class giving you the chance to exercise without the need for childcare based in Basingstoke, Farnham, Ash and Aldershot.

We offer a female only exercise environment and everything is provided in class for both yourself and all kiddies that come along

The exercise is completely adaptable and suitable for all aliments, injuries and recovery. You do not need to be of a certain fitness level or have any exercise experience. Classes are made up of a mixture of exercise styles including body weight, cardio, HIIT, strength & toning and circuits

Classes last 90 min long including arrival, set up, exercise and the end social time of cuppas and biscuits.

We are not just your local gym with a creche, we are here to look after your wellbeing and mental health. Motherhood is lonely and at times judgemental. Every class ends with social time, chit chat, fun, hot cuppas and biscuits. 

Looking after your physical mental health is not just about exercise; it is letting off steam, chatting, relaxing and having a little bit of your time - even if your kiddie is there too! Come find your tribe, some new friends and those that get it.

From experience mummy and baby music groups or sensory led play is great for baby; but not so much mum. Mum tends to get forgotten so we are a class that focuses on you and kiddies come too!

We have lots of new mums come along to class, our exercise is suitable for all postnatal mums, but we also have lots of mums that come to work out with older children who are looking for a local mum and baby class environment where they can do something for themselves and not just baby.

We are here to help you gett out of the house and laugh with likeminded mummas all experiencing parenthood and going through the motions just like you!

Not only that but MummaBfit is run for mums, by mums! 

You are in the safest of hands! 

MummaBfit instructors are not only fully qualified and insured to hold postnatal workout classes, but we also hold multiple qualifications including Group Fitness Instruction, Personal Training and nutrition.

We are DBS checked, fully insured and hold certificates in First Aid. 

But the best bit is, we are mums too. We have very young children and get it. Oh boy do we get it and understand.

When do classes run?

Depending on your area; classes run up to 5 days a week and sometimes multiple sessions on a day. We used to run our child friendly workout classes just like your local mum and baby activity classes whereby you are tied to one particular class a week; however we switched over to a membership style system in 2023.

You can attend as many workout classes as you like in any one month, just like you would your local gym. Therefore, if life gets in the way, baby is poorly or you’ve had a bad nights sleep you do not need to worry about missing a class; we give you freedom of movement to attend any class. Just book in on our app.

All kiddies welcome of any age from 6 weeks old.

No need to worry about finding you local gym with childcare so you can exercise; all kiddies or all ages are welcomed and catered for with plenty of toys and play mats. The environment is safe without heavy weights or equipment for them to injure themselves on.

You can attend MummaBfit yourself from 6 weeks postnatal providing you have no ongoing recovery that would be hampered by exercise or you have been told not to exercise.

Or, you can join us child free! Lots of mums leave kiddies with their partner and pop along!

Exercise, feel stronger and healthier.

Workout and get the endorphins flowing without the need for childcare. You will start to notice yourself feeling fitter and stronger by coming to class. But most of all we hope to become and integral part of your maternity journey by helping you feel more like you, giving you freedom to spend time on yourself guilt free and create new and exciting friendship.

Our aim is for you to leave with a smile on your face, even after the most rubbish of nights sleep!

Locations

We offer our mum and baby exercise classes in Basingstoke and on the Hampshire/Surrey boarder.

In Basingstoke we have a purpose built barn offering multiple classes in both the mornings and afternoon. These are run by myself, the MummaBfit founder Vicky.

Emily runs mum and baby workout classes in Upper Hale, Farnham, Ash & Aldershot.

All classes are postnatal friendly and all mums and babies, kiddies, crawlers and walkers are welcome along.
